Gay Twitter's Most Hilarious Tweets of the Week

Andrea Marks Joseph READ TIME: 2 MIN.

There's something magical about the way Twitter can turn moments from everyday life – the news, celeb shenanigans, even our summertime outfits – into internet-wide inside jokes. In the past week, Twitter has had slutty short-shorts inseam length debates, celebrated Chappell Roan's place in queer history, and been hilariously horny on main.

Throughout the week, the important issue of the need for Justin's tight pants representation in the "Wizards of Waverly Place" spinoff was raised, and we learned that "Sex and the City" star Kristin Davis is in on the joke that Nara Smith makes literally everything from scratch. The trailer for "Wicked" had Twitter reminding thirsty women that Jonathan Bailey is gay and will not be dating Ariana Grande; and a politician telling her audience "don't be weak and gay" has taken on a life of its own. These are some of our favorite Gay Twitter moments from this week.

First and foremost, we're here for being horny on main. Achieving the ideal shorts-length-to-pants-tightness ratio is something that can be so personal and so important.

Lesbians have gone feral for Emma D'Arcy, WNBA star Kelsey Plum's game day fit, and Taylor Swift switching up her performance angle on The Eras Tour.

No other platform is keeping us up-to-date on current affairs like Twitter – whether that's about politicians' homophobic posting, new iPad technology, or the reveal of King Charles III's official portrait – and that's mostly because we can turn literally anything into a joke.

In the latest "Wicked" movie news: The trailer dropped, and everyone had thoughts.

News of all kinds of upcoming projects had to be discussed: A "Jeopardy!" spinoff focused only on pop culture; the most meta, shady announcement of another "Mean Girls" musical, an excellent idea for the "Red, White & Royal Blue" sequel, and Omar Apollo's new album tracklist reminded us of something...

And yeah, we're still thinking about "Challengers."

It's only mid-May, but we can feel the PriDEMONth energy approaching... Hope you're ready!
