Watch: 'Younger' Star Nico Tortorella Discusses Sexual Fluidity, Gender on 'The View'

Wednesday Jul 26, 2017

"Younger" star Nico Torotella stopped by "The View" this week and opened up about being sexually fluid as well as gender.

"I am a lover of love and I'm just fascinated by different expressions of love and how people find each other - more importantly, why people fight love," he explained. "There are so many people around the world who fight specific types of love."

Cohost Joy Behar asked if the 28-year-old actor if "bisexuality is suddenly becoming acceptable in the gay community."

"We still have a lot of work to do, the most flack I get and other bisexual friends get is from inside of the community and not from straight people," Torotella said.

Another cohost, Sunny Hostin, confessed she's confused about the idea of sexual fluidity and gender.

"I don't want to offend anyone because I don't understand," she said. "I want to be an ally but I don't know how to be."

Whoopi Goldberg added: "When I was a kid I was colored, then I was a negro, then I was black, then I was an African-American," she explained, arguing that people aren't going to understand right away and that they need time to catch up."

Tortorella recently covered "The Advocate" where he discussed his 11-year relationship with fitness and lifestyle entrepreneur Bethany Meyers, who identifies as lesbian. Read more about that by clicking here.
