Congrats :: ’Glee’ Actress Announces Engagement to Girlfriend
One of the star actresses from Fox's "Glee" announced her engagement on Friday to her girlfriend, USA Today reports.
Dot Marie Jones, 49, who plays the beloved Coach Shannon Beiste on the hit show, popped the question to her girlfriend Bridgett Casteen while they attended Disneyland's annual Anaheim Gay Days, in California.
Jones, who has been nominated for an Emmy, proposed to Casteen near Disneyland Resort's Sleeping Beauty Castle.
"It's the happiest day of my life. I never thought I'd find somebody that is so loving and kind," the actress told the Advocate. She also took to Twitter on Saturday to post a photo of herself with Casteen.
"SO HAPPY!!," she wrote on Oct. 5.
This is Jones' first marriage and the second for Casteen, 39, who has two children from a previous relationship, USA Today writes.
"Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world. #engaged" Casteen also tweeted on Oct. 4.
Last week, rapper Big Sean announced his engagement to "Glee" actress Naya Rivera.
