NewNowNext Awards :: On the Red Carpet

Hollywood was taken over not only by the gays and those who love them but also more than a few drag queens last week at Logo's fifth annual NewNowNext Awards.

Held at The Avalon in the heart of Hollywood, the awards show, which airs on Logo on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10/9c, it features the hottest of the hot and the up-and-coming stars and projects in television, film and music.

The show was hosted by Fashion Police's Kelly Osbourne and featured categories such as Next Big Star, Cause You're Hot and TV You Betta Watch. With a musical performance by Adam Lambert and presenters and attendees such as Josh Hutcherson ("The Hunger Games"), The Talk's Aisha Tyler, Ross Mathews, Jai Rodriguez, Busy Phillips ("Cougar Town"), Matt Lanter ("90210"), Kat Graham ("Vampire Diaries"), Kyle Richards ("Real Housewives"), Damian McGinty ("Glee") as well as RuPaul, Lady Bunny and Willam Belli, the night was truly one of the gayest ever.

EDGE's Jim Halterman had a spot on the red carpet and grabbed a few minutes with "GCB" stars Mark Deklin and Brad Beyer, "Fashion Police's" George Kotsiopoulos, UK actor Ricky Whittle and Dr. Jenn Berman and Rodiney Santiago from VH1's "Couples Therapy."

Mark Deklin

The handsome and personable Deklin plays Blake Reilly on the new ABC hit series," GCB," which was nominated for TV You Betta Watch. While his character may be closeted to most, he and his wife (played by Miriam Shor) have a ’white marriage,’ where they both respect each other’s sex lives.

Brad Beyer

As Zach Peacham on "GCB," he may be married to overeater Sharon (Jennifer Aspen) but his eye has wandered more than once to Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb). Beyer was also in a popular gay-themed movie several years ago that featured Tori Spelling. Which one? We asked!

Willam Belli

While the controversy over her "Drag Race" elimination lingers, Willam was more than happy to talk about the inspiration for the now-infamous Chick-fil-a video as well as how she and Detox and Vicky Vox decided to use a famous Wilson Phillips song in the video.

Ricky Whittle

He may not be well-known in the States yet but if the sexy UK actor/model has anything to say about it, that will be changing soon. After nearly winning the UK’s dance competition series, "Strictly Come Dancing," in 2009 (he came in second), Whittle is now here in the States making movies and is sure to set some hearts afire.

Dr. Jen and Rodiney

The good psychotherapist is helping people with a variety of relationship issues and what familiar reality show faces is one of her patients on VH1’s "Couples Therapy"? Rodiney Santiago from Logo’s "The A-List," that’s who. But what we really want to know is will we see another season of "The A-List"? Rodiney let me know where things are with more "A-List."

George Kotsiopoulos

The dapper member of the "Fashion Police" team, who was included in the 2011 Out100, spends his days pointing the finger at what the celebrities are wearing but has he ever had his own outfit critiqued as harshly as he (and Joan and Kelly) often do? We asked him!
